I teach 3rd grade in Gwinnett County (a suburb of Atlanta). I taught 1st grade for six years, and this is my second year in 3rd grade. I was born in a small town near Augusta, GA. So living and teaching near Atlanta provides an amazing amount of culture and diversity. I love it!
I'm married to my crazy and sweet husband Dave. We have the cutest puppy ever! She's a Cockapoo named Maggie. :) I just graduated from grad school with my Specialist degree this past December. I'm currently working on a Math endorsement. I have to admit - math is my favorite subject to teach!
My friends say I'm OCD and extremely organized (ok, I admit it; it's true). So I thought I'd share some of my ideas and activities.
