A Holiday Wish from a Student

Every year in Technology specials, our students write ο»Ώa “Holiday Wish” story.  They type it on the computer, add their own fonts and graphics, and print them.
The specials teacher put them in my mailbox and I handed them out to my students.  I don’t read them because I don’t want to invade the kids’ privacy.  Some of them are very heartfelt and personal.
When I was finished passing them out, Emily ran up to me.
She handed me her story.  “It’s for you!”
I was in tears.  I hugged Emily and told her it was the best Christmas gift I’d ever received from a student.  How sweet and thoughtful?!
It meant the world to me that she devoted her wish to me.
Words can’t express how grateful I am for her kindness and love.
Today was our last day before Winter Break.  I pray that each one of my students has a very happy holiday season.  I pray that each one stays safe while playing at home and traveling around the state/country.
I pray the same for each one of you as well.
