New Activity and a FREE Anchor Chart!

What a beautiful weekend it has been!  I'm enjoying some yummy hot chocolate with marshmellows as I'm doing my lesson plans.

Yep, that's right.  I'm getting a jump start on my lesson plans for when we go back to school after Thanksgiving break.  I'd rather go ahead, get them finished, and enjoy the rest of my break without working about work!

One of my reading centers will be my latest activity:
It's a simple vs. compound sentences center.  The kids will read the sentences, place them on the correct side of the mat, and then record them on their recording sheet.  There's also an answer key included for you!  I know how it is when your grading papers...it's SO much easier with an answer key!

There's also a freebie involved!  There is an anchor chart on the first page of the pack (which is included in the purchase).  But if you want to snag it for free, click "download preview" on the product page.  Here's a snapshot of where to click:
Click either picture for more details on the center and to snag the free anchor chart!

  1. I am very impressed that you are working on lesson plans for after Thanksgiving! I still have two days this week, so I'm just focusing on getting through that! haha!
