Multiplication-Division Minilesson

I’m constantly giving my kids examples of how multiplication and division are related.  A great resource that I used the other day were triangle flashcards:
I LOVE these!
I used these flashcards for a minilesson.  I pinned them to the board and then asked the students what they noticed about the numbers.  After some fabulous conversation, the kids were able to help me write the fact families for each card.  It was a quick and easy lesson to show them that division can be a lot easier if they master their multiplication facts.  πŸ™‚
My kids are super excited to use these flashcards when practicing their facts!

Do you use these kind of flashcards?
Or do you stick to the traditional ones?

I really love these flash cards. I also use them for addition and subtraction – fact families are so important.
