Motivation Monday and a Nov. Newsletter Freebie!

I LOVE Maya Angelou, her books, and her words of wisdom.
Here’s one of her quotes that I wanted to share with you guys as well as my students:
It’s so true!  Most of my kids try their best and work really hard, but some struggle.  I’m going to print and laminate this and hang it in our classroom.  It could be a great reminder for all of us!  :)
Also, I’m working on the November newsletter and there’s a pretty sweet freebie included!  Click the picture to sign up for the newsletter (if you haven’t already).  It will hit inboxes Thursday morning!

  1. Thank you SO much for the freebie, Dana.. Maya Angelou is truly amazing, she came to my college when I first started in 2003 or 2004 I believe? And she was so motivational :)

  2. OMG! That would be amazing!!!

  3. I love the quote. I have a student in my class who could really benefit from thinking about that quote. I think that may be our class discussion/ daily journal writing tomorrow. Thinking about what this quote means. Thanks!!!

  4. That sounds like an awesome idea, Helene!!!

  5. Great quote! Proof that big ideas don't always need a lot of words!
