Alright, y'all. It's the week before school starts and I'm running around like a mad woman trying to set up my room and get my first week's plans done.
On top of that, I'm flying to NY Friday to go to BlogHer! I'll be meeting several awesome bloggers up there. I promise to share pics as soon as I get back!

The worst part....my Mac is acting up on me. The mouse won't click on things. It gradually just faded away. :( Since I'm SO dang busy, I don't have time to take it to the Apple store before NY or the first day of school Monday. It will have to be sometime next week.
So the August newsletter will be postponed. :( I'll hopefully get it out by the end of next week.
But here's a glimpse of my welcome sign I made for my new classroom theme!
I'm making little cards with the students' names with little footballs on them. I'll share a pic when I'm finished! We have "Meet The Teacher" Day tomorrow and I'm rushing to get everything finished! AHHH!
I hope to have the Mac up and running soon. I may have to break down and buy a mouse, but I'll still have to take the Mac in to get it fixed. :(

I could not imagine school starting in a week. Ehhk! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteBoo, I am so sorry to hear (or read rather) that your computer is acting up, that is the worst! And the absolute worst timing too, yikes. I hope that you get everything worked out, that Meet the Teacher goes well and you have an awesome time in NY. I will be sending good wishes your way.

Good luck with the computer problems! If I knew a thing or two about Macs, I would try to help, but unfortunately, I don't know anything about them! LOL! Anyway, I love your welcome banner - very cute! We start school next week too, so I feel your stresses!! Good luck with Meet the Teacher! :)

ReplyDeleteOh Dana... I hate when I am defeated by technology--which happens rather regularly in my case, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get everything working (at least partially!), so that you can get through Meet the Teacher Day and move on to the FUN in New York!
Sending you good luck wishes... Love your pennants!

Bummer! I will pray that everything is up and running smoothly before next week. Enjoy BlogHer?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for the well wishes. :) Fingers crossed that the Apple store can work their magic!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I run a small cyber cafe within the busy environs of Margate. Due to heavy use by customers, we constantly have our computers maintained. Our prior firm was starting to charge way too much. We needed a company who would be affordable and also dependable. We decided to contact Data Ninja Services after viewing their website www.dataninjaservices.com and would recommend them to anyone
