Saying I had a blast in NYC for BlogHer would be a huge understatement! I got the chance to meet up with some of my best blogging buddies and her some awesome presentations!
Jenaya (Lesson Plan Diva) and I took the quickest flight available after work Friday and high-tailed it to NYC! After quite the traveling adventure, we made it to the Hilton.
Saturday morning we got up bright and early, had breakfast, and joined Charity (The Organized Classroom Blog) and Angela (The Cornerstone) for the morning session. We joined up with Tamara (Teaching with TLC), Mor (A Teacher's Treasure), Crystal (Kreative in Kinder), and Mel D. (Seusstastic Classroom Inspirations) for a yummy lunch and an interview with Katie Couric!!!
We also browsed around the expo where several sponsors had booths set up. Look who we met!!!
And check out this booth from Duck Tape! They had this fishbowl, two mannequins, and even a purse made out of Duck Tape! I never knew they sold Duck Tape in sheets!!! AMAZING!
This company, Sifteo, had these super cool letter and number tiles! I want some SO bad!!!
Jenaya and I went out for a little bit of shopping and then back at the hotel later for an amazing chat with all the ladies! We went out for dinner at this awesome little Irish pub called Pig-n-Whistle. YUMMY!
We came back to the hotel to attend a BlogHer party sponsored by McDonald's! Yes, McDonald's!!! We created silly hats, ate cheeseburgers, and danced the night away!
BlogHer will be in Chicago next year! I'm planning on going and hope to see YOU there!
