I had to run into to Target yesterday to get a card and some lotion.
Well, 45 minutes later...
I hit the Target JACKPOT!!!
I'm so excited to have found some super cute and cheap things for my kids' treasure box! I found pencils, erasers, markers, bookmarks, and cute Dr. Seuss cut-outs!
And I also saw this fabulous back-to-school commercial last night!!!
LOVE everything Target!!!
LOVE everything Target!!!
What's your weakness?! Is it Target? Wal-mart? The Dollar Tree???
Feel free to share below in the comments. Who am I to judge?! :)

Nice Score! I love Target, but will sometimes go to Walmart if there is something cheaper.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Thea! And yes, you have to pay attention to those price tags!
DeleteSWEET! I have to say that I like Target, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Odd Lots and Staples. Target is about 30 min. away, so I don't get there too often.

Where Seconds Count
Haha, Amy! Glad I'm not the only one who shops around! :)
DeleteI love Target spots! It looks like you had lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, I did! :)
DeleteGreat stuff but did you remember to get what you went in for??? That's the question. I'm a Target person, but this year WalMart had some really cute (and cheap) stuff too!

Third Grade All Stars
Tracey, you're a hoot! But yes, I did remember to get the other items. At least this time... :)
DeleteBeing Canadian, we don't have Target (major bummer) . . .yet! LOL or Dollar Tree (double bummer)but I live close to the border so I do like to stop in at both. :) I tend to check out our local dollar stores, Staples and Walmart. I do take advantage of my Scholastic bonus points and do a big shop for the next school year. This year I spent about $175 on pencils, Birthday stuff, desk nameplates, Star of the Week and a couple of math games. I also like the Oriental Trading Company for holiday and theme stuff.
ReplyDeleteClassroom Capers
Oh, Monica! Thank goodness you're near the border! And yes ma'am, those Scholastic points are golden!!!
DeleteWalmart has teacher things for 88 cents each! Similar to what Target has, only a little different! I spent probably more than I should have BUT I love love love everything I do! You've GOTTA stop by and check it out!!

Miss V's Busy Bees
Thanks for the heads up, Sara!!! I will def stop by!
DeleteALL Of the above! I certainly love a good deal, especially the dollar bins at Target! Great job!
ReplyDeleteCome and check out my new blog, I'm just starting up!

Simpson Superstars
I know, right?! My hubby thought I was crazy for getting such a kick out of it!!!
DeleteI do love Target and see amazing things on teacher's blogs that are found in their dollar section. But, alas, being that I live 3 hours away from the closest Target, by the time I get there I can never find those cool items. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOh, you poor thing! I'd be tearing up the road headed to the nearest one!
DeleteTarget is my weakness!!! I LOVE that store! My girls and I just got back from there where I had to refrain from buying too much stuff for my class. Don't tell my hubby, but I did buy a bunch!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI won't tell your hubby if you don't tell mine! ;)
DeleteMy favorite store is FIVE BELOW. it's like the dollar store (except everything's under $5) for kids--it's got books, crafts, sporting stuff, I even found some nice carson-dellosa puzzles there!
ReplyDeleteMy weakness is ALL of the above!! I can't get enough of any place that has great deals for teachers!! Love your finds!! :)

Learning Is Something to Treasure
Target is heaven! I live in the dollar section when it's time for school. As a matter of fact, you have reminded me that I need to check it out before all the good stuff is taken, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteMy weakness was always Staples, until they changed their Extreme Deals for teachers. I will have to see what is at Staples-love the Dollar Spot! If all else fails, I will go to Wal-Mart.

Target is definitely my weakness!! There is a funny pic on my pinterest board I pinned about how you walk into Target only needing one thing and end upwith a buggy full!

Target is dangerous! I spent 25 bucks the other day on multiplication flashcards and foam clocks for that awesome bulletin board floating around on Pinterest (you keep each clock at the always asked about times like going home or recess so they can just check themselves). I also find Five Below to be super dangerous for treasure boxes. They always have the trendiest things for third graders for super cheap (2.50 for a thing if silly bands when i student taught)
ReplyDeleteI also hit Target... I stocked up on the Dr. Seuss stuff for the Dr. Seuss Day celebration that I do!
ReplyDeleteDollar tree is my weakness when it comes to buckets! I have so many buckets, but yet I still buy more and more! I love Target also!

Stories from Room 114
I look for a deal everywhere, but Target definitely gets the bulk of my business. Usually I am there for something else and end up with a cart full of things I MUST have. I like WalMart and Dollar Tree, but they are not as close, so they lose out due to convenience. The Dollar Spot is the best! Unfortunately those dollars add up and pretty soon it is the $100 spot. :)
