Motivation Monday!

Have you read/watched The Help?!  If so, you'll completely get this!

I feel like we build up our students and others around us while leaving ourselves out.  I recently attended a "Chick Chat" at a local church and the speaker used this quote.  Boy, it hit home that night as she spoke.  It's important to be a bucket filler, but we need to tend to our own buckets as well.

I hope everyone has a great week!

  1. Hi Dana,

I thought you might enjoy my post's picture today- I remembered after your previous post that I had several sets of the animal flashcards from Target! We used them today when we began our Colorado animals project :)

  5. Can you believe that I haven't read the book OR seen the movie?! I feel so out of touch! I had been wanting to wait to see the movie until I read the book, but I think I'm just going to give in and watch the movie! I can always read the book in the summer when I have more time! I've been seeing that quote everywhere though and it makes me want to watch the movie to see what I've been missing!
