A Challenge and a FREEBIE!

Charity from The Organized Classroom Blog has issued quite the challenge:5-Star Blogger

And I've made it!  To celebrate, here's a freebie!

This is a multiplication grid activity I created to help my kids practice their multiplication facts.  The numbers are NOT in order!  My kids weren't too thrilled about that.  :)

To give them a head start, I had the kids come up and fill in some of the missing numbers.  That really helped some of my struggling students catch on quicker.  Before I knew it, everyone wanted to come up and fill in some answers!

I included a mixed review at the bottom of the page.  After filling in the grid, they could use it to decide when number sentence was larger.  I let them work with partners (and individually if they chose so) and they had a blast!  I hope your kids do too!

  2. This is great. I know my 4th graders I just finished after-school with in preparation for the CRCT would have loved it (and also not liked that the numbers were not in order). I'm going to store this away.

    Thanks!

  5. Dana,
Thank you so much for this freebie!
Wanted to let you know that so many of your freebies have come in handy while I have been recovering from surgery. I was able to tell my hubby about your website and he was able to print out various things for my son to do both while we were up at Mayo Clinic and since we have returned.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart...totally agree that you are a 5-Star Blogger, but even more than that, you are such a kind person to share so many excellent free resources. Hope that you are having a happy weekend! Colleen :)
