"I Need My Monster!" Friday Freebie!

Did you ever have a monster under the bed or in the closet when you were little?  I had one in the closet for a while, but thankfully he magically disappeared.  My kids and I read this book today:
Super, stinkin' cute!  The kids got sucked into this book the second I showed them the cover!  I won't give the ending away, but I will tell you that the little boy is looking for a substitute monster.  He meets some pretty interesting characters along the way.  :)  I created the following graphic organizer to help my kids organize their thoughts and ideas during our writing activity afterward.  You can click the picture below to snag it for free!

  12. I love this! I went out and bought the book for my 3rd graders last night. I know they are going to love it. Did you show them the pictures of the monsters? I love the pictures, but I was not sure how you had them do the graphic organizer. Thanks!
