Under the Sea Sight Words Center

Some of my kids need extra help with sight words, so I created a center to boost their accuracy and fluency.  These are 3rd grade words, but I figured 2nd and 4th graders could use these words as well (depending on their reading levels).  There are 9 pages of sight word cards (108 cards total).  There is an activity included where the students choose 10 sight words and use them to write 10 sentences.

***Update:  I'm made one using some K and mostly 1st grade words.  If you want that one:

  1. Dana,
What program did you use to display your Sight Word pages on? I like how you group them all together on one page. I think I used Paint one time, but it wasn't very user friendly.

  2. Hey Patti! After I convert the Word document to PDF, I take a screen shot using Hyper Snap. It's a program that came on my school laptop. After I take the shots I want, I create a Word document with the colored background and choose "Insert Pictures." I get them situated the way I want and then take a final screen shot. Hope this helps!
