My guidance counselor at my new school showed me the coolest way to promote teambuilding and community within the classroom. You start with the teacher’s name. From there, each child adds their name to the poster. The catch is you have to write your name using a letter from another classmate. Here’s an example:
Isn’t that adorable?! I had never seen this before. Even if you get new students, they can add their names! And then you can hang it on your wall to remind students that we’re all in this TOGETHER!
Enjoy! Off to a Falcons game! Rise up!

I love this idea. Thanks for sharing!

Thinking of Teaching
Cute idea… I will have to try it and see how it works. I think I will use Mrs. in addition to my last name as my last name only has 4 letters.
Thanks, ladies! And Monica, I don't blame you.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. I will try it with my first graders next week.
So cute! This makes me want to make a Spelling center or something out of it too! =p
That is such a cute idea! I'm going to try it with my kiddos next week and I think they'll love it!
