Sad news :(

I'm extremely sad to report that I can't go in my classroom yet. I'm devastated! One of my new coworkers thought it was ok to go in and start setting up. Well, I just got kicked out of the building by one of the janitors. He was super sweet about it. But I'm going to Chicago the entire last week of July and preplanning starts August 1st. I need time to get all of this finished!!! What's a girl to do?! Looks like I'll be putting in some extremely long hours that first week of August. BOO HOO!!!

Enough with the whining...here are some pics of my progress. Slowly, but surely. :)

This is the before shot (with zero of my stuff in there):

This is a shot of what it looked like after moving stuff in:

And here is what I was able to get done this morning:

  5. Lakeshore has a free app that lets you design your room...

Almost as good as being in the room and moving things around yourself.

  6. That's fabulous, Pat! I wonder if they would let me sneak back in to get the measurements of my classroom?!

  8. Girl-your room looks SO good compared to mine! :( I worked today and just wanted to give up 30 minutes into it. It's just overwelming at times. We will get there! It always falls into place in time.

  9. I feel your pain. I was kicked out too, and I am busting to get some things accomplished.

By the way I think your room looks great already. It looks like it is really big.
